Stay hydrated at work.
Dehydration accounts for a large amount of work headaches, this can be increased by the fact that a lot of people mistake thirst for hunger. Dehydration not only puts stress on the body (kidneys, brain) but can lead to many other long term chronic health conditions.
In the UK we now buy more than 2 billion litres of bottled water a year and consumption levels in the UK have increased in five years: from 29 litres per person in 2002 to 36 litres per head in 2007.(Source: Zenith International).
Most days, many people will buy a 1 litre bottle of water to keep them going throughout the day, some may reuse the bottle but refill with tap or water cooler systems which don’t require the same high standards as bottled mineral water.
So in an effort to cut plastic waste, save cash and have pure healthy water, use a home water filter to top up your bottle daily as a way of having clean pure water. This would save approximately £180 based on buying one bottle of water per day at £1 per bottle to one water filter that should last a month.
